Full membership of Fish for Life is open to all businesses which serve people who fish recreationally, including businesses that are primarily concerned with fishing (eg, rods, tackle and bait), mostly concerned with fishing (eg, boat sales and service) or which have a significant proportion of their customers who are there to fish (eg, caravan parks, road houses, hotels, shops, tourist attractions).

Membership is also open to local government authorities of towns which benefit from fishing and associations representing tourism and other industry within those towns.

Membership fees vary according to the extent of reliance on fishing. See the Membership application form. All revenue is used to fund campaigns in support of recreational fishing in WA.

Associate membership is also open to people who fish, who want to express their support and stay informed via the Fish for Life e-newsletter. Associate membership is just $10 per year.
